3-day Hanoi - Ba Be Lake Tour

Located in Bac Kan province, about 240km north of Hanoi, Ba Be National Park is very well known for its breathtaking beauty with towering limestone mountains, plunging valleys, cascade waterfalls, dense evergreen forests, caves and especially the three lakes at the centre of the area.
With 3 days tour we will have chance to enjoy the beautiful landscape and an active trekking day to visit local villages to see people in their daily life.

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be (D)
Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Bac Kan province. On the way to Ha Giang we will visit Ethnology Museum in Thai Nguyen province; have lunch en route at your own cost. We will arrive at Ba Be National Park around early afternoon and start a 4 hours boat trip on the emerald Ba Be lake surrounded by limestone mountains and lush vegetation. Keep the boat trip through mysterious Puong cave where inhabited by thousands of bats, visit Islands and 3 sections of the lake. Then spend time to go around Pac Ngoi village of Tay ethnic people to learn about their culture and lifestyle. Stay overnight and have dinner with local people.

Day 2: Ba Be trekking (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we start a trekking day through Coc Toc Village and other ones: Khau Qua, Nam Dai, Dan May. These villages belonging to Dao and Tay ethnic people. You will go up and down hills, mountain, tea, corn or rice farm, through villages. Lunch will be served on the way, either picnic lunch box or in a local house. The active day ends at Dau Dang Waterfall, our boat will wait to bring you back to your homestay.

Day 3: Ba Be – Hanoi (B)
Breakfast is served at homestay before saying goodbye to your host to visit Hua Ma Cave, the biggest primitive cave in the region then transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon, end the tour.
