Hanoi - Ha Giang - Ba Be - Ban Gioc - Bac Son Tour 6 Days

Join our journey to discover the most outstanding destinations in the northeast area including Dong Van Karst Plateau, Ba Be National Park, Ban Gioc Waterfall and Bac Son Valley. Highlight of this region is the mythical combination of towering forested limestone peaks and deep valleys, creating a breathtaking beauty that hardly find anywhere else. However, it does not mean the beauty of this region is all about dramatic peaks and troughs, and that your trip will be only adventurous. After visiting the Karst Plateau with “rock forest” and craggy mountain passes, we will head down to Ba Be National Park, spend time discovering the romantic and gorgeous lakes deeply hidden among limestone pinnacles and lush forests. Then again drive up northeast to enjoy the impressive beauty of Ban Gioc Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia. Surrounded by limestone mountain peaks, its water rushes down a three-tiered cliff from a height of more than 70 meters and is divided into three falls by rocks and trees. The last stop in your journey is Bac Son valley, an enchanting place with picturesque landscape of high mountains and a winding river run crossing the rice fields, truly deserves to be known as “Green Paradise on Earth”.
Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (D)
Our guide will pick-up you at your hotel in Hanoi. We will go through the countryside and midland on the way to mountain area of Ha Giang. Arrive Ha Giang, go to a Tay village, free time to see daily life of local people. Enjoy homestay with local host.

Day 2: Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van (B)
After breakfast get on car to Dong Van Geopark, on the way visit Lung Cu Flag Pole, the Northernmost point of Vietnam. Have some stops for taking photo and contemplate breath taking landscape of the area. Have lunch en route.
Afternoon visit some villages on the way. Visit Vuong Chi Sinh's house, a land lord of H'Mong hill tribe in the past.
Arrive Dong Van, check in guest house, free time to visit the small town. If it is early you can have a short trek to Don Cao,  a top mountain bunker built by French military in the wartime to control the area. Free to enjoy dinner and homestay in Dong Van town.

Day 3: Dong Van - Meo Vac – Ba Be (D)
You have sometime in the morning after breakfast wandering around the town, taking nice photos then depart for Ba Be National Park. On the way we will stop at Bao Lac village for a short visit and having lunch. Continue snaking through mountain passes and lush forests we will reach the Park. Spend time getting to know the area and stay overnight at home-stay in Pac Ngoi village of Tay ethnic people.

Day 4: Ba Be – Cao Bang (B, D)
After breakfast, we have boat trip on the emerald Ba Be lake surrounded by limestone mountains and lush vegetation. Keep rowing to reach the scenic Dau Dang waterfall and visit mysterious Puong cave where inhabited by thousands of bats. At the end of the boat trip, our car is waiting to depart for Cao Bang. Upon arrival, we will visit Pac Rang blacksmith village (or Phia Thap, incense making village) and stay overnight at homestay there.

Day 5: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Bac Son (B, D)
Get up early to visit a stone craft village of Khuoi Ky where all the houses made of stone. Continue to visit Nguom Ngao cave and spectacular Ban Gioc waterfall with its untouched beauty then depart for Bac Son, a valley in Lang Son province and stay overnight with local family.

Day 6: Bac Son – Hanoi (B, L)
Make a short tour around the village to see how they work on their farms or do their daily activities. Then climb up the highest mountain – the Na Lay peak for panoramic view over the valley. From above, the valley looks like a beautiful picture of green paradise with winding river runs crossing the rice fields, surrounded by high peak mountains. Lunch is cooked and served by your host before heading back to Hanoi. End the tour.
