Photo Tours in Mountainous Areas – North Vietnam
Ha Giang, the northernmost province of Vietnam, where even many
Vietnamese have not heard about: flag pole Lung Cu, Meo Vac, Dong Van,
Hoang Su Phi ...
So far away, this land still retains all the cultural features, strange
customs and vivid colors in the costumes of ethnic minorities living on
this land.
Thanks to development of transportation system, Ha Giang recently has been discovered. The scenery and people here have brought about the inspiration and unending surprises for visitors to this land.
Our photo tours are for passionate photographers who want to catch the unique, beautiful moments of life. Taking part in this tour you will be able to see and experience real life as well as the breathtaking scenery of this land.
Depending on the number of people in your group, the interests of each
group we will arrange corresponding services that best meet your demand.
Maybe you will like staying in a local house with local people or you
like to stay at hotel in this mountain town. Maybe you will be traveling
by a very popular mean on this area: motorbikes, or take a trek with
short, long trekking routes depending entirely on your needs. With long
distance journeys, you will probably be able to experience either public
transport or comfortable and free with your reserved vehicle.
The best period for a photo tour of the terraced rice field is from May to October. In May terrace fields is soaked with water and look like pieces of curved mirror (see some of our amateur photos taken in this time). However, rainy season is completely dependent on nature. We will advise the best time for your particular trip.
Three months after the plowing and sowing is the most beautiful time to take photo of terraced fields, September (see some of our photos taken in rice crop). Due to the old-style agricultural practices and varied rice seeds, the time for rice crop is different from this fields to other ones. This luckily creates a colorful picture with curving lines, various tones of green and yellow as a brocade of the H’Mong people.
Beside terraced fields there are many other attractive objectives for photographers, such as images of indigenous peoples in their daily lives, a rustic house in a beautiful mountain setting, market days, local festivals, scenery on Dong Van rocky plateau, famous Global Geopark, ... Do not hesitate to contact us to show your preferences and requirements so we can arrange a unique trip for you. A trip that you will recall one day and eagerly tell your friends as the best experience in your life.
